Emmaus VN YAM (Emmaus Vietnamese Young Adults Ministry) is rooted in the journey to Emmaus (Luke 24:13–35), where two disciples encountered the Risen Christ and their hearts were set on fire again. EmmausYAM is a collaborative apostolate of priests, religious sisters, and lay leaders who share a common mission: to accompany, serve, and evangelize young adults.
“Young people need to be accompanied, not merely instructed.”
— Pope Francis.
This profound statement emphasizes the significance of mentorship and guidance in the development of the younger generation. It highlights that simply providing information or directives is insufficient; rather, it is essential to walk alongside young individuals as they navigate the complexities of life, instilling in them an awareness of God’s presence and love. By engaging actively in their journey we empower them to discover their own paths, rooted in faith, to make informed decisions guided by divine wisdom, and to develop a deep-rooted sense of purpose aligned with God’s plan for them.

From retreats and conferences to mission trips and World Youth Day, every experience is an invitation to grow deeper in faith, community, and purpose.

The ER 101 is a retreat designed for young adults entering college, discerning their purpose, and seeking to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ. Whether you are preparing for a new chapter, serving in ministry, or searching for God’s call in your life, this retreat is an opportunity to encounter Jesus, build authentic friendships, and discover what it truly means to live as His disciple in the world today.

World Youth Day Seoul 2027 is more than a trip — it is a pilgrimage of faith, hope, and encounter with the universal Church. Together, we will visit the holy sites of the Korean martyrs, experience the beauty of Korean Catholic culture, and join millions of young Catholics from around the world in prayer, worship, and friendship. WYD 2027 will be a life-changing journey that strengthens our faith and calls us to become joyful witnesses of Christ.

Recent studies have shown a deeply concerning trend among young adults and the Church. Many reports suggest that nearly 70–85% of Catholic young adults stop regularly practicing their faith after high school or during their college years.
